The Linn, Benton, Lincoln Workforce Investment Board is a public-private, business-led organization dedicated to providing and maintaining a high quality workforce in the region. In doing so, the Board invests both funding and energy towards strategic, creative, workforce solutions. In carrying out its mission, the Board maintains partnerships with businesses, educational institutions and community organizations.

The ultimate result of our efforts is to help create economic vitality in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties. The Board accomplishes this by identifying and meeting the workforce skill needs of employers in order to strengthen their ability to compete in the global market. Enhancing the skills of the current and future workforce is our on-going mission.

The Workforce Investment Board:

• Scans the economic landscape to identify workforce challenges and opportunities.
• Convenes various public-private partners to address barriers to success.
• Manages resources and acts as the guardian of public dollars.
• Invests in and oversights the operation of the Oregon WorkSource system, in our region.
• Invests in incumbent worker training projects.
• Sub-contracts with service providers for Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth services.
